Museumplein cluster: The Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum and Stedelijk are all on the same square. You can combine two or three in a single day if you arrive early and pick your priorities in advance.
Arrive at opening: Most Amsterdam museums open at 9am. Arriving for the first hour gives you a significantly quieter, more enjoyable experience β especially at the Van Gogh Museum and Rijksmuseum.
